Yesterday we were learning how to get wise with money. Get wise is a financial literacy program  for students under the age of 18 it is also sponsored by “ASB”. Also to learn how to use and spend your money we also went into groups of four and  had 160 solo dollars to spend but in each group we had to go to  a random planet and get them a gift buy some shoes and get a guide book we first went to go and get some shoes the first pair of shoes were 50 bucks each the second pair of shoes were 120 bucks and the last pair of shoes were 190 bucks so we got the first pair because it was the cheapest pair of shoes. We then went  to get the gift for the people and we went to the chocolate shop to get them some nice chocolate there was a jelly chocolate which was a picture of  the alien planet that we weren’t getting that one because  the picture was only shown once so we din’t get that one so we just went for the last one and  that one was the best because you could change the flavor to what ever flavor you cloud ever wan’t`and it was only 19 solo dollars. We went to to get a guide book and there were three choices to choose from and it was the last thing to do so we just choose and we had the money to get all of them so we got all three. Then we got a picture in our year seven and eight year group.

today I have learnt the states of liquids and solid particle clunked together and a liquid particle is far apart  and condensation is apart but not to far. You make a solid by putting it in a cold space in a or in your fridge.

how to make a liquid is You put a solid in a in the sun or in a warm place.

In my opinion I believe that the action stations was okay because we didn’t get to bat the ball and the only reason why was because Noah was playing and he bats the ball to far and he can even throw it over a house. Secondly I learnt how to catch a ball properly but we had to catch the softballs with these crappy gloves. In softball I also learnt that they have to run very fast to get home. Thirdly I thought that it was okay because we couldn’t bat what I found challenging was how we had to be slick fast and  try and catch the ball for softball.My favorite part of softball was when I was a runner I probably chose something else to learn how to do other things

Everybody knows that peer pressure can be good or bad because like when your doing the wrong thing and your friends tell you not to do it and they give you good reasoning to do things and positive reasoning’s  and bad peer pressure is when you get forced to do something like when we wen’t to Harold the giraffe and we watched a scene and we watched the good side to it and the scene was about them going to there unties house and then the mean girl called Scarlet was trying to make her steal lollies and then as Lily’s friends were coming out she stuck up for her self  because she didn’t want to steal and then her friends heard it and they stuck for her then they weren’t friends with her any more.

 

Everybody has had a time that they were peer pressured  was when I got gum from the Diary and I had accidentally

grabbed another pack of gum and walked out and I only paid for two pack’s of gum and then X aria told me to walk out  and I said no and put it back and left

Today I am going to write a blog all about Negative and positive peer pressure first I am going to write about negative peer pressure negative peer pressure is when you either get forced to do something that you don’t want to do or you do something by accident and you keep it a secrete like when you break a vase or something special to them so they hide it  secondly for instants say your friends took you to the shops and had pocket money and you didn’t get anything so you  choose to steal something say it was a packet of gum then you ran out of the store that is what negative peer pressure .

positive peer  pressure is when you do something wrong and then you keep it a secret and then your parent comes home and asks you what happened and you admit it.

 

 

This term in kaupapamatua I have learnt about why we should look after they ocean and about what the ocean first we wrote about OXYGEN 

• Oxygen enters the ocean in the surface water through contact with the atmosphere from there the oxygen is then brought to greater depths through the sinking and circulation of water masses. These in turn are dynamic process that are strongly affected by climate conditions .transportation
• Transportation is where they take the animals onto the boat and take them somewhere animals from the ocean 76 % percent of all us .trade involving some from the marine transportation.

 

So far this term in kaitiakitanga we have been learning to look after our school and the environment  like doing clean up we started at Thompson park and we went around in a circle we pick up plastic bottles,plastic bags and author types of plastic then we tried the beach card board and all that author stuff and it was kind of nice to go to pick up rubbish because we were sometimes having a lot of fun like playing ball games like hand ball and yeah thats all I have to say right now.

 

 to protect our manu and put traps down for the predators the predators are toast ,possums,Mice, and rats but rats are the worst because they have big teeth sharp  and they are really dirty and they are disgusting and rats steal native birds eggs and eat them but how to law them to the trap you need to put an apple in the trap or a golf ball in it and once you catch the animal then take the animal out and put a new trap in it and that is what I have learnt this term.

 

That the ocean provides a lot of things like medicine,oxygen,biodiversity,water,food and 

In oxygen I learnt that trees only hold 20 to 30 % of oxygen in the world and that actually the ocean holds most of the oxygen. Did you know that the ocean holds 50 to 70 % of oxygen.

Did you know that the ocean also provides medicine and its medicine is in the salt water.

 

If I got the choice it would be the ocean poster about why we should look after the ocean because I will learn more about the ocean and I will get more information about the ocean that is why I would learn more about the ocean.

 

 

 

 

This term we have been learning about fitness and the  exercise it  has  on our trying to get more fit. I have worked on what’s the problem with plastic  I made up a google doc and it has tables and has  the number’s of how much I did.

Over the past 2 weeks  we have been designing a Maori picture book .My book is about animals it talks about animals and here are a  couple of examples taika means tiger in Maori and kuri means dog in Maori. My favorite part is the game here is a link to my Maori picture book.
