Weekly Reflection

Kia Ora,

This week I have learnt about prisms and nets we had to do this sheet thing where we had to name all of these numbers and a whole bunch of other things .Another thing I learnt this week was Maori prefixes where we had to use whaka and kai me and Eva helped each other out and we had to make our own sentences and we had to translate them and get the meaning of the words. Then I had to make this game at tech and I had to buddy up to make this ocean themed game which was really pretty and fun because wed actually put effort into it the thing I learnt at tech was basically coding.

One thing I found challenging this week was kaupapa Matua because the teina wouldn’t listen Chrissy/sunny and karleo were play fighting and most of the kids were like running around everywhere talking and not listening. One thing I enjoyed this week was kapa haka because I learnt new actions and I have improved a lot from last year in not mucking up the actions and where I had to stand.

Nga mihi.

Learning This Week

Kia Ora,

This week on Wednesday we had to do a skit it was about using Maori words like using whaka in sentences and translate the sentences and then put a new Maori word in the sentence one thing I enjoyed about this was me and Eva were talking a lot and having a lot of laughs because me and Eva laugh all the time. One thing I found challenging on Wednesday was paying attention.

This week two of the other things I learnt was  what a regular and an irregular shape is I learnt that a regular shape is a shape that has all even sides and an irregular shape is  a shape that has unequal sides I also learnt how to do Maori prefix’s.

Weekly Reflection

One thing I really enjoyed this week was work because I  finished a lot of it and that is a very rare thing to find in me and my friend Noel. We are very bad at focusing on work because we talk too much and because Jasmine has started making it more interesting. I’ve enjoyed doing my work.

A challenge I faced this week was weaving because we had to work with a buddy to hold the other side of the plat that we were platting and I had to keep restarting because Izabella kept twisting her hand so I asked  lisa to hold it for me instead and the only thing that made it hard was the way that we had to plate the moka. Something I felt proud of this week was the kaupapa matua groups that we got put in because even though I had to work with people I didn’t like working with I still managed to finish the work for my group independently

Next week,I want to get better at  Math because I’m not very good at math and the only problem why I don’t get math is because I talk to my friends too much and I get distracted by little things like little jokes from azalieghia.  If I could change one thing that happened this week would be working with others because they were doing barely anything and I was  the only person doing all the work in my group and the only thing I could get him to do was one idea.

Name slide

Simple ,Compound ,Complex ,Sentence – Blog

Kai Ora, today I am going to be writing about simple , compound  and complex sentences here is an example.

A simple sentence has one noun and one verb it has one main idea it’s a complete thought. A complex sentence includes a dependent clause and an independent clause it consists of one clause that makes sense and one that does not. A compound sentence has two simple sentences that are joined together to make a conjunction.

Here is an example of a simple sentence: the bear growled  Dante and Matt ran. Here is an example of a compound :sentence This car is expensive, and this car is too little. Here is an example of a complex :sentence Now that we have finished work,we can relax.
